Multiple Aperture Imaging

Direct detection of extrasolar planets around nearby stars requires multi aperture systems when infrared spectral ranges are considered. The goal of our group is to assess several instrumental concept with respect to corresponding scientific observable including :
- interferometry : high accuracy visibility measurement, differential and nulling interferometry
- hypertelescopes The evaluation will include both scientific and technical aspects of the techniques, including required steps for feasibility demonstration.
